The Appleby Line Street Festival Takes Over Burlington September 20
The Appleby Line Street Festival is happening Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Burlington 365

If you love the sound of an entire street shutting down for a good reason, circle this one: the Appleby Line Street Festival is happening Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 1 to 5 p.m., along Appleby Line between New Street and Fairview Street.
The festival bills itself as bringing families, friends, and the community together, and this year there's a bonus for the early risers: a prehistoric-themed Dino Run for all ages, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., right before the main event kicks off. Registration is open through the festival's Dino Run page.
Once the festival itself gets going at 1 p.m., here's what's confirmed on tap:
Nearly 150 vendors — local shops, businesses, and organizations set up along the street
Food Truck Alley — your standard street-eats lineup, for lunch or just a snack
Live music throughout the afternoon from local talent
Burlington Teen Tour Band performing at 2:00 p.m. — Canada's oldest and largest youth marching band
Beer Garden, presented by Nickel Brook Brewing Co., for anyone looking to sip a local brew while listening to the music
Pony rides for kids, set up on the grassy area near Fairview
Kids Zone, sponsored by Burlington Pediatric Dentistry, with bouncy castles, obstacle courses, and face-painting
The 2026 festival map is set to be released in early September — organizers say to watch their social channels for it.
One heads-up if you're a local business owner rather than just an attendee: vendor space for this year is already sold out. The organizers have also posted a scam alert, warning that some people have been posing as sellers of vendor space that doesn't exist — they're asking anyone interested to register only directly through the official website, and to double check any email communication matches what's listed there, since imitation accounts using their logo have been spotted.
This year's sponsors include Burlington Dental Centre, telMAX, Burlington Hydro, the City of Burlington, Nickel Brook Brewing, Hyperweb, CIBC, Cogeco, the Burlington Lions Club, Nature's Emporium, and GC Duke Equipment, among others.
Appleby Line, September 20, 1 to 5 p.m. Bring the kids, bring an appetite, and if anyone tries to sell you vendor space through a random email — don't.
