Today, we are pausing our regularly scheduled programming for just a moment to celebrate a major milestone: Burlington 365 has officially hit 25,000 followers on Instagram.

What started as a passion project to highlight the best of our city has grown into a vibrant, digital town square. Reaching 25K isn't just about a number on a screen; it’s about 25,000 neighbors, business owners, and visitors who care deeply about what makes Burlington, Ontario, the best place to live.

Two Years, 1,000 Stories, One Goal

Consistency is the heartbeat of any community. Over the past two years, we have shared over 1,000 posts. From the first frost on the waterfront to the busiest nights of the Sound of Music Festival, we’ve been there to capture the moments that define our city.

Our goal from Day One was simple: to keep Burlington connected. Whether we were highlighting a new hidden-gem cafe, providing updates on local transit, or sharing breathtaking sunset photos of the pier, every post was a brick in the foundation of this community hub.

Why This Milestone Matters

In an era of global headlines and digital noise, local connection matters more than ever. 25,000 followers means that when a local business needs support, our city hears about it. When there’s a community event at Spencer Smith Park, our neighbors show up. When someone is looking for a reason to fall in love with their hometown again, they find it here.

We’ve watched this page grow from its very first post into a place where conversations happen, friendships are sparked, and local pride is celebrated daily.

A Heartfelt Thank You

To our 25,000 followers: Thank you. Thank you for the likes, the shares, the tags, and the tips. Thank you for engaging in the comments and for trusting us to be your source for all things Burlington. Your energy is what keeps us posting at 10:00 PM on a Tuesday or lacing up our boots to cover a local festival in the snow.

What’s Next for Burlington 365?

Hitting 25K is just the beginning. As we look toward the rest of 2026, we are committed to:

Here’s to the next 1,000 posts and the next 25,000 followers. We are so proud to tell the story of Burlington alongside all of you.
