Burlington Centre is levelling up: here's everything coming by 2027

Between the new restaurant, the furniture anchor, and the expanded footprint for one of its most-visited tenants, Burlington Centre is shaping up to have a busy couple of years.

If you've been to Burlington Centre lately, you've probably noticed the place has some real momentum going. Two new clothing stores — Boathouse and Warehouse One — recently opened their doors, and it turns out that's just the beginning.

Here's a rundown of what's on the way.

A brand new restaurant with an outdoor patio

The biggest news might be the arrival of Wildcraft Grill and Lounge Bar, expected to open its second-ever location at Burlington Centre sometime next year. What makes it especially interesting is the planned outdoor seating area — the space being converted was previously the loading bay used by Old Navy, turning underutilized back-of-house space into something guests can actually enjoy.

Old Navy isn't leaving — just moving

Speaking of Old Navy, the store isn't going anywhere; it's just getting a new home within the mall. This spring, it's set to relocate from its spot near the food court to a unit in Burlington Centre's main hall.

Structube is coming

Furniture fans, take note: Structube is slated to open a 1,580 square metre location at Burlington Centre in 2027. For Burlington, this would be a second local outpost of the popular furniture retailer — a solid anchor addition for the mall.

Winners is getting bigger

The Winners inside Burlington Centre — already one of the mall's busiest stores — is set to grow by roughly 460 square metres. No firm completion date has been announced yet, but the expansion is in the works.

Moche Batalion, vice president of national leasing at RioCan (the company behind Burlington Centre), put it simply in a recent statement: as Burlington grows, so does the need for retail and dining that brings the community together. The goal is for the mall to remain a genuine destination — not just a place to pick something up, but somewhere worth going.

Between the new restaurant, the furniture anchor, and the expanded footprint for one of its most-visited tenants, Burlington Centre is shaping up to have a very busy couple of years ahead.
