Burlington’s summer festival lineup is getting a major new addition. The Lakeshore Music & Arts Festival will make its debut June 20–21, 2026, bringing a two-day celebration of music, art, food, and community to the city’s waterfront.
Hosted at the picturesque Spencer Smith Park, the free outdoor festival will transform the lakefront into a vibrant multi-stage experience featuring nationally recognized Canadian artists, emerging performers, local makers, and a wide variety of food vendors.
A New Summer Festival for Burlington
Set against the backdrop of Lake Ontario, Lakeshore aims to create an accessible cultural event that draws both locals and visitors to Burlington’s downtown core. Festival organizers say the event will blend live entertainment with community-focused programming designed for all ages.
In addition to headline music performances, attendees can expect artisan markets showcasing local creators, a diverse lineup of food trucks, and family-friendly activities running throughout the weekend.
Music, Art, and Community on the Waterfront
With multiple stages planned throughout the park, the festival will spotlight a mix of established Canadian talent and emerging artists across a variety of genres. The goal is to highlight both national performers and the growing creative community in the region.
The event’s waterfront setting at Spencer Smith Park makes it one of the most scenic festival locations in the province, offering expansive views of Lake Ontario while placing visitors steps away from downtown restaurants, patios, and shops.
A Festival Built to Grow
Organizers say the Lakeshore Music & Arts Festival is designed to become a long-term fixture in the region’s cultural calendar. With free admission and a broad mix of programming, the festival aims to position itself among Ontario’s premier outdoor music and arts events in the years ahead.
As Burlington continues to grow as a destination for arts, culture, and waterfront events, Lakeshore could quickly become a signature start-of-summer celebration for the city.
