Safety isn’t something most people think about—until they have to. But the reality is simple: the more prepared you are, the more control you have.
That’s exactly why this event exists.
On Sunday, March 29th from 11AM to 3PM, local community members, safety advocates, and industry voices are coming together for a focused, practical conversation around home safety, personal defence, and situational awareness.
This isn’t about fear. It’s about readiness.
Real Strategies You Can Use Immediately
Too much of the conversation around safety lives in theory. This event is built differently.
Attendees will walk away with practical, DIY ways to make their homes safer right now—simple upgrades, overlooked vulnerabilities, and real-world adjustments that can make a meaningful difference.
Alongside that, there will be open discussions about what Canadians can realistically do today to improve their personal safety and awareness in everyday situations.
No overcomplication. Just actionable insight.
Learn From Trusted Voices in the Community
We’re bringing together organizations that are actively working on the front lines of community safety.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet and connect with Crime Stoppers, known for their role in crime prevention and public awareness, as well as the team from 416 Tactical, who specialize in training, preparedness, and real-world safety education.
This is a chance to ask questions, have real conversations, and hear directly from people who deal with these issues every day.
More Than Just a Conversation
While the focus is serious, the environment is designed to be welcoming, open, and community-driven.
There will be free food and coffee, giving attendees time to connect with others who share the same mindset—people who care about protecting their families and communities.
You’ll also experience interactive elements like the Window Smash Challenge, giving a hands-on look at how quickly vulnerabilities can be exposed—and why preparation matters.
Show Up Informed. Leave Prepared.
To make things even more engaging, attendees will have the chance to participate in prize giveaways, including an opportunity to win $1,000 in Canada First products.
But beyond the giveaways, the real value is what you leave with: clarity, awareness, and practical steps you can take immediately.
Because safety isn’t about reacting when something happens.
It’s about being ready before it does.
