JoggenJam Is Coming to Burlington — Here's Everything You Need to Know
Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 4th, from 6–10 PM at the Art Gallery of Burlington, and get ready to be part of version one of JoggenJam.
A New Kind of Social Event Is Landing at the Art Gallery of Burlington
Burlington has plenty of races. It has plenty of parties. What it hasn't had — until now — is JoggenJam: a pilot event built to blend movement, community, and a genuinely good time into one low-pressure evening.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 4th, from 6–10 PM at the Art Gallery of Burlington, and get ready to be part of version one.
What Exactly Is JoggenJam?
JoggenJam is a social run/walk hybrid — part fitness event, part mixer — designed for anyone who wants to move a little, meet new people, and enjoy a night out without the pressure of a stopwatch or a finish-line clock.
It's a pilot. That means this first JoggenJam is about testing the concept, gathering the right crowd, and shaping something that could grow into a Burlington staple for years to come.

How JoggenJam Works
Step 1: Pick Your Distance
Participants choose between:
5K Social Run
2K Social Walk
Whichever you pick, there's no pressure to hit a pace or chase a personal best. Run it, jog it, or walk it — however you want to move is the right way to move.
Step 2: Head to the Afterparty
Once the run or walk wraps up, everyone regroups at the Art Gallery of Burlington for:
Live music
Non-alcoholic drinks (one included with your ticket)
Food
Local pop-ups
A room full of people you probably haven't met yet
This is where JoggenJam really earns its name — the after-event social is just as much the point as the run itself.
Step 3: Bring Whoever You Want (Or No One)
Come with your run club, your coworkers, your neighbors — or show up solo. JoggenJam is designed to be easy to walk into alone and easy to meet people once you're there.
Why JoggenJam Matters for Burlington
Burlington has no shortage of things to do, but community-first, low-stakes social events are harder to come by. JoggenJam is built to fill that gap: something active, social, and genuinely fun, without turning into a competitive race or a stuffy networking event.
This first JoggenJam is also a chance for the community to help shape what it becomes. If it resonates, expect a bigger, better version next year — and early attendees will have helped build it.
