Burlington's first Fertility Matters 6K walk hits LaSalle Park on October 4th — here's what to know before you lace up.
There's a certain kind of morning Burlington does really well — coffee in hand, a park full of people who showed up for each other, dogs weaving between strollers. This October, LaSalle Park is getting one of those mornings, and it's in support of something a lot of families here have quietly carried alone for a long time.
The first-ever Burlington Fertility Matters 6K is happening Sunday, October 4th, 9:30–11:30am, organized by Crystal of Fertility Blooms and Team Fertility Fight Club, in support of Fertility Matters Canada. One in six Canadians deals with fertility or family-building challenges — and this walk is for anyone touched by that, whether directly or through someone they love.
You don't need to be a client or a member of anything to show up. Walk it, run it, stroll it at whatever pace feels right. Bring your partner, your parents, your dog. There'll be coffee, tea, snacks, giveaways, and a raffle table worth lingering at.

Stroller-friendly: Should be fine given the park setting, but I'd confirm the walk route surface if you're pushing a stroller the whole 6K
If you're a local business, this is also an easy one to say yes to — they're looking for donations like coffee, snacks, gift cards, wellness products, or raffle items. Small gesture, big morning for a lot of people who really don't hear "we see you" enough.
