Ready to explore the universe right here in the Niagara Region? The RASC: Niagara Centre (Royal Astronomical Society of Canada) is inviting you and your family to some incredible public observing nights at Heartland Forest!
Just after sunset, and if the skies cooperate, the RASC team will be set up with their amazing telescopes, ready to show you celestial wonders. Get ready to zoom in on the Moon, planets, stars, galaxies, and more!
It’s completely free and a fantastic, fun experience for the whole family! Just look for them—they’ll be set up just past the mini golf course.
Mark your calendars for these upcoming 2025 public observing events:
September 27: Starting 7:00 pm (Celebrate International Astronomy Day!)
October 25: Starting 6:00 pm
November 29: Starting 5:00 pm
Where: Heartland Forest, 8215 Heartland Forest Rd, Niagara Falls.
