Appleby Line Street Festival Returns September 21, 2025

There’s nothing quite like seeing Burlington come together, and this fall, one of our favourite community traditions is back. On Sunday, September 21, 2025, Appleby Line will transform into a lively, car-free festival filled with food, music, activities, and neighbours catching up. From 1–5 PM, the stretch between New Street and Fairview Street will be buzzing with energy — and you won’t want to miss it.

A Roaring Start: The Dino Run

Before the festival officially kicks off, the streets will be rumbling with the Dino Run — a prehistoric-themed family fun run that’s all about participation and laughter. From 12:00 to 1:30 PM, families, friends, and neighbours are invited to lace up their sneakers and hit the street together. Walk, jog, or sprint — even babies in strollers are welcome. It’s the perfect way to start your festival day with a roar.

Something for Everyone

One of the best parts of the Appleby Line Street Festival is the variety. No matter what brings you out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy:

• Beer Garden – Returning by popular demand, the Beer Garden is the festival’s most refreshing stop. Local favourite Nickel Brook Brewing Co. will be serving up cold brews, making it the perfect spot to relax, mingle, and enjoy live music.

• Burlington Teen Tour Band – At 2:00 PM, don’t miss a performance from Burlington’s world-famous Teen Tour Band, filling the street with music and pride.

• Food Truck Alley – Hungry? From savoury to sweet, Food Truck Alley is where you’ll find all your favourite festival flavours.

• Live Entertainment – Local musicians and performers will be sharing their talents all afternoon, keeping the energy high from start to finish.

• Vendor Market – With 150+ vendors and exhibitors, there’s so much to see. Browse local businesses, community groups, and organizations offering products, prizes, demonstrations, and more.

• Kidz Zone – A festival staple, the Kidz Zone is a paradise for young festival-goers, with bouncy castles, obstacle courses, face-painting, and endless fun.
