Burlington’s dining scene is making national waves thanks to No. 8 Restaurant, a newcomer at the corner of Pearl and James Streets in downtown. Since opening, No. 8 has impressed diners and critics alike with its fusion of global influences and locally sourced ingredients, offering a modern culinary experience that’s quickly become a local favourite.
Now, the restaurant has earned a spot on Air Canada’s prestigious list of finalists for Best New Restaurant in Canada. Only 30 restaurants nationwide are recognized each year, chosen for their creativity, service, and dedication to showcasing Canada’s diverse culinary identity.
Since 2002, Air Canada has highlighted the country’s best new dining destinations, celebrating what it calls “food worth flying for.” The 2025 winner will be revealed on November 17.
