The Elizabeth Gardens Creative Collective (EGCC) will host its annual Art Walk on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lion's Park, 471 Pearl Street in Burlington, Ontario. Admission is free, and residents are encouraged to walk, bike, or take Burlington Transit to the event, with trip planning available at myride.burlingtontransit.ca/TripPlanner.
This year's Art Walk marks a new chapter for the beloved community tradition, moving to a fresh location after previous editions were held at Burloak Waterfront Park and Mohawk Park.
Wherever it lands, the event has become one of the city's most anticipated grassroots celebrations of local creativity, drawing dozens of artists and hundreds of visitors each year.
The EGCC itself has a grassroots origin story. What began in 2020 as an informal online gathering during the pandemic grew into a close-knit network of Burlington-area visual artists, makers, and educators.
