More Burlington Skyway Weekend Lane Closures Begin Tonight

Two Niagara-bound lanes of the QEW on the Burlington Skyway will be closed from 10 p.m. tonight (Friday, Aug. 8) until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, with full closures briefly on:
Saturday, Aug. 9 (1 a.m.–3 a.m.)
Monday, Aug. 11 (1 a.m.–4 a.m.)
These closures mark the first of three consecutive weekends of lane reductions, continuing:
Aug. 15–18
Aug. 22–25
The work is part of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation's ongoing rehabilitation of the Niagara-bound Skyway lanes, involving asphalt, waterproofing, and concrete repairs to improve safety and extend the bridge’s lifespan. Weather may affect closure times.
