For 76 years, the Oakville Santa Claus Parade has been a treasured community tradition, bringing together residents of all ages to celebrate the joy of the holidays. The parade’s story dates back to 1948, when Bill Hughes, then President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, organized the first event to help boost business in Downtown Oakville.
